Otero Humanist Community is a local, member driven secular group centered on reason, compassion, and shared civic responsibility. We exist to build real community, not to promote belief or ideology.

We bring people together for conversation, learning, and community life, with the understanding that thoughtful disagreement is healthy and mutual respect is non negotiable.

What We Are

A local community for secular and non religious people in Otero County.
A space for thoughtful discussion grounded in evidence, curiosity, and empathy.
A group that values showing up, supporting one another, and engaging with the wider community.

What We Are Not

A church, ministry, or faith based organization.
A forum for debate, proselytizing, or tearing down personal beliefs.
A political party, campaign, or endorsement group.
